Veterinary Behavior Consultants (VBC) is here to help make that adjustment as easy as possible. Get the best behavior from your new best friend! When you make an appointment with VBC independant contractor trained professional behavioral counselor Francine Crocker within four months of adoption (a copy of the adoption agreement from your shelter will be required at the time of appointment), your 1.5 to 2 hour consultation will be just $195. That's a $75 savings!! Just ask about the adoption special when you call for your appointment.

If you suspect that you will need to actually see Dr. Melese for your pet's problem or suspect that a behavioral medication may be indicated,  you can make a regular behavioral medicine appointment (see policies & fees page on appropriate web page) with Dr. Melese and put the appointment expenses on your credit card if you wish.  Appointments with Dr. Melese can be charged to your VISA, M/C and Discover (in addition to checks and cash, of course) for those clients that need to use credit to promptly get the care they need for their pet. As a courtesy, Dr. Melese extends a 5% discount off his regular professional service fees to clients that have adopted a rescue/shelter pet within the same 4 month period (documentation also required).
